`This year, I have attended the 14th Eurasia International Festival in Kazakhstan. We have the same vision, whereas our contents are quite close to each other. It is quite symbolic that our festivals are of the same age, so the peers could become good friends’ commented Milyausha Aytuganova.

Every year Kazakh films are widely represented in competition and out-of-competition programmes of the Kazan Muslim Film Festival.

`Tatarstan is a fraternal Republic for Kazakhstan. We have similar languages, history, mentality and art. I am very glad that fate has brought us together. We are going to launch an updated festival dedicated to a director and actor Shaken Aimanov in Almata. The festival will focus on the films produced in Turkic-speaking countries. I hope to have a fruitful cooperate with the Kazan Muslim Film Festival’, commented Kanat Torebay.

In the end of the ceremony, Milyausha Aytuganova announced that the joint film production programme between Tatarstan and Kazakhstan to be launched soon.

A number of agreements were also signed yesterday, including cooperation agreements with Turkic World Documentary Film Festival (Turkey), Geneva Oriental Film Festival (Switzerland) and Sharm El-Sheikh Film Festival (Egypt).
