Submissions to the 19th Kazan Film Festival are now Open

The submissions to the 19th Kazan International Muslim Film Festival started on February 1, 2023 and lasts until June 1, 2023.
The selections of films for 2023 edition of the festival finishes in early July.
The selection committee of the festival is constituted by Prof. Dr. Timur Shaikhullin (Russian Islamic Institute, Russia) and a film critic Dr. Svetlana Slapke (Eurasian Global, Germany) headed by Nina Kochelyaeva (New Institute of Cultural Studies, Russia).
The competition program of the 2023 edition includes full and short feature and documentary films. The additional section of the festival, the National Competition, is reserved for films produced in the Republic of Tatarstan or about this region.
The submissions are open for films, reflecting universal spiritual values and cultural traditions as well as the ideas of peacemaking, religious tolerance and humanism.
The 19th Kazan International Muslim Film Festival will be held from 5 to 9 September 2023.
2023 edition of the festival is a supported project by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
The Kazan International Festival of Muslim Films is held with the support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Ministry of Culture of Russia in partnership with the Russia — the Islamic World Strategic Vision Group.
