According to Aleksey Petrukhin, The Last Test will be released in Russia in late August 2019. This is the second part of the trilogy. Its first part was The Teacher, a drama, which story takes place in one of the Russian schools, released in 2015. The Teacher has received a number of awards from Russian film festivals.
In the first part, The Teacher, the main character of the story, played by Irina Kupchenko, takes the 11A class to hostage for delivering them a moral lesson.
