Shagane is not just a poem but the last inspiration of a great Russian poet, Sergei Esenin. The plot is based on an image of a mysterious Shagane who draws the portrait of Esenin through time. Audiovisual poetry is a poem about beauty, femininity, aspiration to the art, freedom, and harmony of East and West. These are the things the Russian poet was inspired by. His life is a tragedy, and poetry is love.
