The regional film market of the “Altyn minbar” Kazan Film Festival is to take place in the Kazan State Institute of Culture

The current film market will be the fourth one within the forum. The debut one gathered more than thirty companies from the Russian regions. The previous year, the number of participants expanded due to the invitation of cinema representatives from CIS countries, Syria, and Egypt.

The film market is an active platform for the implementation of joint cinematic projects. It is aimed at establishing cooperation between so-called players in the film industry, the integration of international film institutions into the Russian market, and the compilation of a film catalog,

Regional filmmakers of the Russian Federation, foreign film studios, distributors, the representatives of municipal and private movie theater circuits, online cinemas and TV channels, production companies, independent producers, film directors, and screenwriters can participate in the regional film market. The event is organized by “Tatarkino” the State Budgetary Institution of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and LLC “Kinofest”. The official partners are the Kazan State Institute of Culture, Fotozoom and MTD Media.

We remind you that “Altyn Minbar” the XX Kazan International Film Festival, will take place in the capital of Tatarstan from September 6 to 11, with the support of Rustam Minnikhanov the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Culture of Russia, as well as in partnership with the strategic vision group “Russia-Islamic world”.
