Natalya Bondarchuk: I Am Happy to Join the Festival

A famous Soviet and Russian actress, screenwriter and director Natalia Bondarchuk hold a questions and answers session after the screening of her film Red Riding Hood. Online within the special section of the out-of-competition programme of the 14th Kazan Muslim Film Festival devoted to the films created for children. She also presented a theatre Bambi, established by her children.

Natalia Bondarchuk admitted that she made the film especially for children, and, therefore, she would like hear the opinion of the youngest members of the audience. Children in the cinema hall told that they liked the most the characters of the wolf and the fox the most, confirming that they would like to watch more film created especially for their age groups.

The Film Red Riding Hood. Online has a documentary basis executed in the form of game. The children theatre and behind-the-scenes were reflected through the eyes of children playing in the play by Schwartz.

All the events of the film are real events happened in the Bambi theatre. 'I am quite attached to the film, it is my own story, the story of my 30-year-old theatre’, said Natalia Bondarchuk, ‘There were children who watch the film online, as the students of international film schools founded by Natalia in Ireland, Spain, France and Malta.

‘Kazan is lucky, as the festival audience saw this film first. Its official premiere will be held in Moscow on October 3. I am happy to be at the festival uniting so many people with the atmosphere of friendship and cooperation', commented Natalya Bondarchuk.
