I am sincerely glad to greet the organizers, participants and guests of the XIV Kazan International Muslim Film Festival!

Over the course of its existence your project has gained the glory of forum of «the humane cinema», having become an expected event in the world of arts, and became widely known in Russia and throughout the world. Cinematographers and spectators from different countries tend to come to Kazan in order to see original projects, exchange their experience, join the large-scale festival movement.

Films presented in the competition program address socially significant topics, provide answers to many questions, which interest the youth, contributes to strengthen cross-cultural and inter-confessional dialogue. I am sure that the festival traditionally will become a memorable event in the life of the Republic of Tatarstan and will attract the attention of devoted admirers of the cinema.
